The Dom Pedro Baia sits in a superb location: the beautiful waterfront of Machico Bay. Machico is the oldest town in Madeira and its bay the first place the early settlers set foot on this wonderful island. This is a calm and elegant hotel whilst Machico is the place to feel the real Madeira; a town away from the tourist track, nice and quiet with a historic waterfront and spectacular promenade by its beach. The clear and tranquil waters of the bay caress the beautiful golden sand beach of Machico, just a short walk away from the hotel on the seafront promenade. A great addition to the many activities you can choose from in Machico.
The outdoor pool is heated and surrounded by the lovely and lush gardens of the hotel. The Children’s pool is separate from this pool and also heated.Games Room

The hotel’s tennis court is nicely tucked away from the hotel’s main structure and all the equipment you need may be rented at reception.
Sports Court
This convenient court is located by the tennis court and appropriate to play Volleyball, Badminton, Boules or Archery. All equipment can be rented at reception.
Hairdresser and Souvenir Shop
The salon is located on the first floor and open Monday through Saturday. The shop is also located on the same floor and opens daily
Diving Centre
The Diving Centre “Madeira Oceanos” is located on the First floor. Our certified instructor and professional team will either introduce you to this fascinating sport or take you on a dive to explore Machico’s underwater world.
