SORRENTO ,originating from the Greek word “Flowing” it describes the famous town over flowing the limestone, while perched on the edge of cliffs. Decorated with parks, villas, orange, lemon and olive groves, the picturesque narrow streets and  spectacular weather, are only some of the characteristics that have  ensured a steady stream of visitors to the town throughout centuries. A central point, and an even better base for exploring the surrounding areas  (including of course Pompeii, Positano, & Capri), its charm lies partly in its sun drenched rustic simplicity while  offering many activities such as  culture, swims, thermal treatments, nature walks and various excursions. With  something for everyone to enjoy, including a plethora of cafes and restaurants, and shops with a view- it’s no wonder it’s simply splendid in Sorrento.
