Alitours Confidence Credit (ACC)

All NEW 2021 travel bookings automatically come with our Alitours Cofidence Credit (ACC)*— included.

This plan gives guests the ability to move their booking to another destination, an Alitours vacation, or simply a different 2021 or 2022 departure date in our land-only line of products, no questions asked. Just let us know before final payment and we’ll waive all land penalties and transfer it to the new vacation.

* Alitours Confidence Credit (ACC) allows for any 2021 booking to be changed to a different destination or to another 2021 or 2022 departure date. Notice of change in travel plans must be given before final payment date; standard cancellation penalties will apply for full cancellation or changes made after final payment date. The penalty waiver applies to the land portion of the booking only; airfares and vacations booked air-inclusive may be subject to penalties and/or change fees from the airline as well as additional penalties.** Applicable price and eligible promotions at the time of booking for the new land portion will apply; if new trip is less expensive, a future travel credit will be issued for the difference in price. Cannot be applied to Villa/Apartment only reservations, Custom FIT or TBA space. No cash value. Credit is fully transferable. Offer reliant on space availability. May be withdrawn at any time. Looking Forward

In response to elevated travel restrictions and government advisements, we have made a proactive decision to suspend our guaranteed tour departures through March 1, 2021.

Given these circumstances, Alitours continues to provide our travelers flexibility when considering their future travel plans.

Through the ACC (Alitours Confidence Credit) program, Alitours is allowing travelers with booked departures November 01, 2020 to March 01, 2021 to move dates easily and without incurring cancellation fees on land portions**.

Travelers are free to move their booking on any suspended trip to any land package in any Alitours destination. If they are not ready to choose their new vacation, the full value paid to us will be provided via a Future Travel Credit (FTC), redeemable for any future departure through 2022, and is transferrable.

Affected travelers therefore may move their land reservation to any other itinerary, destination, or date in 2021 or 2022, and always under our ACC program. To expedite the process and ensure guests have adequate time to adjust travel plans without worry, we have automatically protected their vacations and funds by issuing an automatic Future Travel Credit (FTC) to all travelers for affected departures November 01, 2020 to March 01, 2021.

Guests can opt out of the ACC program via our cancelled vacation policy if we are notified by December 30, 2020***. After that date, the ACC program is the only available option. Those wishing to claim through their insurance provider must request to WAIVE the FTC, and intern request a regular cancellation invoice (regular cancellation terms apply of non-refundable deposit, plus any penalties) this action cannot be reversed once cancellation invoice is provided, and no future compensation will be provided, in any manner.

 ***Cancellation penalties refer to applicable cancellation fees within final payment. Deposits remain non-refundable. Cancellation fee waiver applies to all Alitours land portions with the exceptions of anything that includes specific payment conditions, such as select rail package inclusions and certain destinations. Air penalties and changes in airfare may apply. May be withdrawn at any time.

Alitours will continue to review and update assurance initiatives as we make our return to the world, including adhering to – and building upon – the standards set forth by travel and health agencies across the globe, including the European Centre for Disease Prevention (ECDC), the U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC), Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), World Health Organization (WHO), Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO).

We understand this is a time of hesitation and concern in the world of travel but, are committed to ensuring our guests and their travel advisors navigate through this period with the right options, adequate time, and high levels of attention and consideration. As we do our best to help every one of our guests, both with current and pending travel plans, we greatly appreciate your confidence and loyalty.

Of course, we continue to monitor this situation closely and carefully to determine if additional modifications and updates are needed, always with safety and guest health being of paramount importance.
